Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This policy explains what information is involved when you use this website and its tools. It describes how the site is set up at the date above. If that setup changes, for example by adding analytics or advertising, this policy will be updated before or when the change goes live.
Files and text you use with the tools
The tools read files and text you provide using features built into your browser, and the results are created on your device. The tool scripts contain no code that sends your files or text to our server or to another service. We have no access to what you process. You can confirm this yourself by watching the network panel in your browser’s developer tools while you use a tool. Files exist only in your browser’s memory and in the downloads you choose to save, and they are discarded when you close or reload the page.
Information we do collect
Server logs. The website is delivered by a hosting provider. Like most web servers, it can record technical details of each request, such as IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type and referring page. These logs are used for security, reliability and troubleshooting, and are handled under the hosting provider’s own terms and retention practices.
Email. If you email us, we receive your address and the content of your message, and we use them to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. Please do not send sensitive documents.
Cookies and local storage
The website’s own code does not set cookies. It uses your browser’s local storage to remember your light or dark theme choice. This value stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it in your browser settings.
Analytics
No analytics service is installed at the date above.
Advertising
No advertisements are shown at the date above. If we later display ads through Google AdSense or a similar service, those providers, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google’s explanation is at policies.google.com/technologies/ads, and you can manage personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com. Where the law requires it for your region, we will also provide a consent choice before such technologies are used, and we will update this policy first.
Third-party websites
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control their content or privacy practices.
Children
This website is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security and retention
The site is intended to be served over HTTPS. We keep emails only as long as needed to handle the matter. Server logs are kept according to the hosting provider’s settings. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it or to have it deleted. Because we hold very little, this will usually concern email correspondence. Write to contact@shbonlineshop.com.
Changes
When this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Please check it from time to time.
Who is responsible for this website
This website is run by its owner, who decides how the site works and is the contact point for privacy questions. You can reach the owner at contact@shbonlineshop.com. Where privacy laws in your region use terms such as “controller”, that role belongs to the site owner for the limited information described here.
What we do not collect
- We do not ask you to create an account, so we hold no usernames or passwords.
- We do not take payments, so we hold no card or bank details.
- We do not offer a contact form, comments or a newsletter sign-up, so nothing you type on a page is submitted to us.
- We do not use the site’s own code to collect your location, contacts, camera, microphone or device identifiers.
- We do not run advertising or analytics scripts at the date above.
How the browser-based tools work in practice
When you choose a file, your browser gives the page script access to that file’s contents. The script reads it, processes it in your device’s memory, and creates a result that the page offers as a download. Temporary browser links used for previews are released when you replace the file or leave the page. The files you download are saved wherever your browser puts downloads, and you are responsible for them. Your browser, operating system and any backup or sync software you use may keep copies of files you select or download. That happens on your device under your own settings, not on our server.
A quick overview
| Information | Where it lives | Who can see it |
|---|---|---|
| Files and text you process | Your browser’s memory and your downloads | You |
| Theme choice (light or dark) | Your browser’s local storage | You |
| Technical request details (IP address, page, browser) | Hosting provider’s server logs | The hosting provider and the site owner if they review logs |
| Emails you send us | The owner’s email service | The owner and the email provider |
Legal grounds, where they apply
In regions with laws that require a legal basis for handling personal information, we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and working for the server logs, and on your request for the emails you send us. If we add advertising or analytics that need consent, we will ask for it before those technologies run.
International processing
Hosting providers may operate data centres in several countries, so the technical request details described above may be processed outside the country where you live. The tools’ file processing does not involve our servers.
Do Not Track and similar signals
Because the site does not track visitors across websites, there is nothing to switch off when your browser sends a Do Not Track or similar signal.
Managing what is stored in your browser
You can remove the saved theme choice by clearing site data for this website in your browser’s settings. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies and local storage for specific sites. If advertising is added later, you can also use the controls described in the advertising section above.
If something goes wrong
If we learn of a security incident that affects information we hold, we will take reasonable steps to limit the harm and notify the people affected where the law requires it. Since we hold very little information, the realistic exposure is limited to email correspondence and server logs.
This policy is a plain-language starting point written for the site’s current setup. It is not legal advice, and the owner should have it reviewed for the laws that apply to their location and audience.
